To add, I personally started to use FAPS Forexautopilot on Demo in http://alpari.co.uk/ and made over 1500 of profit in few trades for last days, so I can personally confirm and show the record that this EA is really working and making money. Maybe not in all brokers. I attach the proof screenshot of account. Please post this screenshot to let people know. HERE.
I am not sure what is happening. Everyone please download the EA again just for sure. If still not working, simply request a new copy again from the program developer. The best I can do FOR NOW is helping you to redirect your queries or problems to Andreas. I am not paid for this kind of job though ;0) !
If you wish to obtain the ForexAutoPilot EA, please be warned about the lack of response from the customer support. In the mean time, I would like you to consider also my forex day trading method which can provide you with 'real' forex trading knowledge/ support and allow manual trading within your own control.

I did download the EA again yesterday but will try again. I have also emailed their support team but as yet had no reply. I know this isn't your problem but was just checking in case you were using something other than the default settings. I am also using Alpari as my broker. I will try again and see if anything happens.

I've emailed support again and still have had no response! However, i have noticed a problem with the downloads on the Forex Autopilot website. If you download the full package (3.8MB) the EX4 file is 20k and was updated on 21st Feb. If you only download the Autopilot robot the file is 12.5K and was updated on 28th Feb. I've now installed the newer file and will see what happens on Monday.
Obviously the EA has been amended but not included in the full download zip file.

You can try this - download the latest program which was updated on 28 Feb from the website. The EA can only work on EURUSD 1 min setup. Hope it helps.

Still no trades opened. Did you have any open today? I have the EA updated on 28/2 running on EURUSD M1. Still no response from technical support either! Will keep emailing!

Andy, please share with me if you have a reply from the the technical support. In the mean time, do you see any error message on the 'experts' tab? I might have the same problem and am currently investigating too.

Hi Lloyd, I installed the new EA (from 1st March, 6:00PM, filesize 19636) yesterday and still receive the alligator jaw error 129 many times a day without any trade been made.
As the support only tells me to reload the EA (which is the version I already use), do you have any other ideas here how to solve this problem or do you have a chance to adress this issue to Andreas ?

Latest update - despite the alligator jaw error 129 message keeps reappearing on my platform, I was surprised that there were actually two trades on EUR/USD M1 and one on AUD/USD M1 being opened today (5 March) :0 ! They yeided 60 pips on my ALPARI demo account. I will keep them running just to make sure and I will probably put a report up at the end of this week.

JP, other users also have similar issue with interbankFX.
Check out this earlier reply from Andreas:
"Some clients have Alligator 129 error (bad quotes from interbankFX), marcus recommends changing broker because EA is sensitive to the quotes quality. interbankFX does not give normalized price quotes. In
other brokers this problem was solved and it works fine."
hello all, im very new to forex trading and trading overall. i purchased the autopilot EA on Sunday, and using metatrader4 demo account, my initial deposit was 5000. i did some stupid trades and got to 4850. so i decided to just leave it and watch and as of today i have 6671, all trades by autopilot. now does this mean if i started out with$5000 i wouldve made $1671 with autopilot?
i am clueless but intent to learn the market fully.
also is there any user guidelines for metatrader4, soemthing that explains all the terminology easily.

Drae, metatrader is a great forex trading tool. Simply type in "metatrader user guide" in any search engine for detailed instructions. I would also recommend you to search various forex forums to download free metatrader custom indicators.

Was there any other solution to the "Alligator 129 Error" aside from switching brokers (not using IBFX)?
I can't believe un-normalized incoming price quotes could be such a big problem, as MT4 and MQL have a special function Normalize, which will convert any quote to normalized format? I have been a software developer for over 10 years and working with MT4 since 2005 and I can assure you this type of conversion is really very easy. They must have oversimplified the problem so as not to overwhelm a general audience with technicalities...
At any rate - I was wondering if there has been a final fix and an updated EA for this problem? It is not clear from this thread and the other threads it links to as some folks say it works for them and other that it doesn't...

Like you said, it could be resolved easily but so far I have not been informed about the final fixed version which works fine in all mt4 providers. I am no expert in this perhaps you can offer your help to Marcus and his team. Make sure they pay for your work :)

Anyone knows how to fix it? or what it means?
i dont know if you all had the same problems. is it common that the software reaches up to minus 200+ pips.
the last time i used it and it reached -300pips then i got scared and i stop using it. then i started again using FAP when it upgraded the software. now it reaches -200++ pips. just a question, is it common to have the minus that much or.. is there something wrong with my software?

The drawndown is not uncommon since the system does not use fixed stoploss parameter to prevent getting losing trades. If the trade is losing FAP advisor closes it to prevent further drawdowns by the end of the month.
