ECB Trichet Remarks Halt Dollar Slides Thursday

It was a confusing day for the forex market with both the non-farm payrolls data and the ECB press conference dominating the same schedule on an unusual Thursday. Prior to these events, both our trades were briefly in profit before being stopped out by Trichet comments.

The GBP retail sales report came out unexpectedly stronger than forecast. Despite the losses with GBP/USD , the end-of-session results was still able to make a healthy gain of +145 pips for the day with other major pairs.
Moreover, I also picked up two 100-pip signal entries, i.e.short EUR/USD and long USD/CHF which are currently sitting with healthy gains.

Hello May ! We started off the month with some fresh wins on the majors. They were straightforward signals on the hourly time frame. Hence, some good profits by the end of the session. In addition, I am going to trail these signals in post-session hours and aim to get them to hit my targets.

More wins in the afternoon ! It turned out to be a very bright day for the system. Apparently, it made more gains in one day (+175 pips) than the last whole month (+45 pips). This is why i never missed a trading day so far since the start ;-)

Yen-crosses markets were sold off again in wild London session. We had the same setups as yesterday but with different results. The losses in USD/JPY put us back with +100 pips for the month. The end-of-session results for yen-crosses pairs were uninspiring. My only advices when dealing with these markets are fast in fast out and never let a winner (early gains) becomes loser. Focus only the setup with the US dollar sentiment indicator if you are unsure with the yen-crosses pairs.

My positions are still running at the moment. I think I better learn this over again - How to Cope with Sell-Off. Sigh - I shouldn't have traded these signals this morning as it was in the opposite direction of the major currency pairs. On hindsight, a bad 50-50 choice.

A straightforward technical trading in the morning session with some easy pips to be grabbed. The System has managed to avoid a volatile US session even though our market sentiment readings were spot on and IN TUNE with most of the news event outcomes.
Meanwhile, there were also plenty of good trading opportunities for those who opted for the 'bonus strategy' trading.

GBP/JPY is the most interesting currency pair on our Autopilot Watchlist, however, due to its disappointing performance with the forex killer software recently (especially during European hours), we will remove it from our signal entry list till the market condition improves.
In other note, results just got BETTER with the US session trading with the MAJOR CURRENCY PAIRS (as usual) !
USD/CAD continues to be 'IN TUNE' with our initial prediction to climb further ahead to reach over +100 pips after the end of 3-hour Autopilot Monitoring session.

I took a few days off this week and only made 1 trade on Monday. This week was actually an interesting week as the US dollar bullish sentiment reached an extreme level. I will resume normal trading Monday and am looking to buy at retracement when the signals are present.

Closed short USD/JPY at 106.65 for + 8 pips
I did a quick scalp in the morning before turning up for work. I am slightly cautious about my positions these days as I am determined to beat last month's performance.
